My name is Lynn Sylvia and I am the proud founder and artist who has created the platters and plates you will find on this website.
The idea for my distinctive, personalized gifts, came to me about six years ago, when, being a stay-at-home mother, I needed a gift for my son's preschool teacher. Being tired of the same old teacher gifts, apples, rulers, #1 this and that, I knew that I wanted something special, something personal, something unique. I couldn't find it.
Everything was either screen printed and impersonal, or 'done before'. That's when I decided that if I couldn't find what I was looking for, I would make it. It's The Fingerprint Flower platter, located in the Teacher Category on this site. It was an incredible hit with the teacher and the class moms. After a few years of creating these hand painted, decorative plates for family members and friends, I figured that if I was looking for a new, unique gift to give someone special, other people must be searching too!
Business has grown steadily by word-of-mouth over the last couple of years. It has been my pleasure creating new designs for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, new babies, holidays, Christmas and so many more special occasions. Along the way I have met some wonderful people. I know that I am giving them a personalized gift they in no way could get anywhere else. I love the personal touch I offer, custom designing each platter and plate.
